Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of cloud native tech;
- Develop tooling, tests and automation for a large scale Kubernetes platform;
- Reviewal of code/configuration changes;
- Be part of an on-call rotation (paid) and work to reduce the number and MTTR of incidents.
Requirements:
- Some knowledge of DevOps principles and tools;
- Experience writing Go, or a desire to learn;
- Experience designing, operating or building distributed systems;
- Deep understanding of kubernetes and containers. (i.e. be a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or working towards it);
- Be able to empathise with enterprise application developers using Spring Boot/Weblogic;
- Some knowledge of public or private cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, vSphere);
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
