Our company is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the customer in selecting products/services,
  • May maintain customer preference records;
  • Answer questions and check for stock and availability;
  • Assist with rollout of new contracts;
  • Acquisition of new accounts and delivery of revenue and profits in line with the agreed targets;
  • Developing and maintaining an active and accurate pipeline of opportunities using internal systems and procedures;
  • Developing additional revenue opportunities from existing accounts where applicable;
  • Advise clients of the benefits of outsourcing;
  • Closing deals and ensuring prescribed targets are met;
  • Draw up quotes in conjunction with General Manager: Sales where applicable;
  • Merchandising;
  • Ability to prepare and present presentations;
  • Follow up on all visits and/or quotes to clients;
  • Acquiring new clients on a regular basis in order to increase our value in the market place;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients.

Requirements:

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Grade 12 (Matric);
  • Fluent in English both in the spoken and written language. Mastery of a foreign language is advantage and will attract a premium salary;
  • Must have completed Grade 12. A Diploma or Degree is advantageous;
  • No criminal record or bad debt;
  • Individuals have to be brand aligned; classic, elegant & sophisticated in both appearance and demeanour;
  • Ability to work well independently;
  • Proven ability to drive sales and generate new business;
  • Excellent customer relationship management;
  • Confident and experienced negotiator able to drive revenue;
  • Professional client engagement skills;
  • Networking Experience;
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans advantageous);
  • Proven sales record;
  • Relevant years of experience in similar role.
