Our company is looking for a Logistics Scheduler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile transport contracts;
  • Develop relationships with transporters and clients;
  • Executing on contract terms and conditions;
  • Daily admin function;
  • After hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week;
  • Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA;
  • Stock as well as quality control;
  • Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery;
  • Managing and executing import and export documents;
  • Adding new transporters and updating insurance;
  • Negotiating rates with transporters;
  • Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo;
  • Collecting POD’s.

Requirements:

  • Fully bilingual;
  • Relevant logistics qualification;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
