Our company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical and contract meetings;
  • Lead and coordinate professional team;
  • Quality inspections and progress reporting;
  • Administering building contracts (JBCC, etc.);
  • Contract and finance management;
  • Assist in preparation of fee proposals and bids;
  • Act as Project Manager on various projects;
  • Act as client and user client interface.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management/ Construction Management;
  • Based in the Western Cape;
  • BEng Civil or BSc Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management;
  • Must be able to schedule in MS ProjectÂ;
  • Able to conduct themselves in a professional manner when dealing with clients and other stakeholders;
  • Diploma / degree in mechanical engineeringÂ;
  • 2 Years experience as a junior project managerÂ;
  • Thorough understanding of the full project life cycle;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time;
  • Ability to lead a team;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good understanding of construction;
  • CAPM certification advantageousÂ;
  • Understanding of building contracts.
