Mechanical Design Draughtsman Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mechanical Design Draughtsman to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Create nestings for plasma;
- Convert 2D designs to 3D;
- Assist in implementing drawing standards;
- Proper planning and time management. The successful candidate will be expected to function successfully on their own;
- Reports to the Engineering manager;
- Assist production and repair departments as needed;
- Filing and data capturing;
- Assist with day to day;
- Take on complete projects from start to finish;
- Maintain good interdepartmental communication and relations;
- Self-motivated and hard working.
Requirements:
- Notice period: As per candidate contract;
- Interview test: will be conducted on both AutoCAD and Inventor;
- Experience: 5+ years in 3D mechanical parts and components. Trailer and automotive industry experience is preferential.
