Operating closely alongside the Financial Controller, you will take direct responsibility for the day-to-day accuracy of the hotel's operational ledger, daily cash administration, and foreign exchange compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Cashbook & Foreign Exchange Governance: Manage comprehensive daily banking allocations, perform cashbook reconciliations, and oversee foreign currency transaction processing and regulatory compliance.
• Operational Stock & Inventory Audit: Monitor operational supply inventories, track beverage and material usage, and audit stockroom movements to prevent variance losses.
• Month-End Financial Reporting: Compile detailed balance sheet schedules, prepare financial summaries, and assist with the seamless execution of month-end closures.
• Internal Controls & Cross-Departmental Liaison: Partner directly with operational heads (Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping) to enforce internal financial controls and procurement policies.
• Documentation & Administrative Oversight: Maintain pristine transactional audit trails, prepare compliance files, and introduce continuous workflow efficiencies within the unit's finance division.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related tertiary commercial qualification is essential.
• Proven experience operating as an Assistant Financial Controller, General Ledger Accountant, or Senior Finance Administrator within a fast-paced environment.
• Explicit prior exposure to inventory control mechanisms and stock management frameworks is a strict requirement; previous accounting experience within hospitality, tourism, or premium leisure environments is highly advantageous.
• Strong, hands-on understanding of cashbook reconciliations, daily treasury banking processes, and foreign exchange (Forex) transaction processing.
• Sharp analytical problem-solving skills, elite organizational habits to handle multi-currency documentation under deadline pressure, and strong interpersonal confidence to interface across operational departments.
