Porter

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Porter at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein reporting to the Porter Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring patients between the wards and the X-Ray department as per schedule.

Critical Outputs
Fetch and return ward patients
All ward patients scheduled for procedures are collected from and returned to the wards
Whiteboard schedule is maintained and checked throughout the day
Deliver reports an images to wards and Doctor’s suites
All reports and film envelopes which need to be delivered to ward or Doctor’s suites in the hospital are taken timeously and delivered to the correct destination
Health and Safety; all work areas, passages and wheelchairs/gurneys are kept neat and tidy

Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills a prerequisite.
