Financial Manager / Finance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full finance function and finance team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS.
• Manage VAT compliance, SARS submissions, and all statutory reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.

Job Experience & Skills Required
Education:

• CA(SA), CIMA, or BCom Accounting / Finance Degree.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (essential).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' post-articles commercial experience .
• Proven people management experience is essential.
• Strong background within manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or other product-based industries .
• Hands-on experience managing the full financial function.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance and SARS submissions.
• Financial reporting and management accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• ERP system experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly advantageous.
