About the Role The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, while also providing technical support to end-users. The IT Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring that our technology systems are running smoothly and that employees are provided with the technical support they need. Key Responsibilities Setup and configuration of end-user computers and creating of user accounts. Manage, maintain, and update site copiers, and printing machines. Install software, maintain and introduce training as needed. Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment. Install software, maintain and introduce training as needed. Reporting to customers and staff on issues and resolutions. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to get them resolved. Ordering Computer and ensuring that backup hardware is available for spares. Managing IT service desk system. Documenting policies and procedures within the IT department. Weekly and Monthly Reporting on IT Environment Daily & Weekly Checklists to be completed. Monitoring the internet connection for security risks Employing the latest security protocols Monitoring the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors Provide 1st and 2nd line responses for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems. Conduct network troubleshooting to segregate and identify general network problems. WAN & LAN Support between branches and sites. Support and maintain uptime of all Servers (Includes server & network maintenance – over a weekend). IT Asset Management. Candidate Requirements Qualifications, Experience and Skills Diploma or Degree in Information Technology Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) CompTIA A+ & N+ 4+ years’ experience in IT Administration position Other Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills Detail orientated, with good attention to detail Client centricity attitude Drivers licence and own car Competencies and Knowledge Behavioural Competencies Communicating and Informing Analytical thinking Resolving Receptive to feedback Adaptability Working well under pressure Knowledge Veeam Backup & Replication Microsoft Office 365 (Include SharePoint & MS Teams) All Windows Server platforms Microsoft Windows 10, 11 SQL Knowledge is a bonus Mimecast ESET Antivirus Active Directory Virtual Server (Microsoft Hyper-V) Network Experience Firewall Experience Access Control Helpdesk Systems (ManageEngine) Knowledge of all forms of connectivity e.g. Wireless, 3G, VPN, Fibre, etc. VOIP Experience Knowledge of IT best practices for change control, implementations etc. Hygiene Factors Copes with Change Integrity and Trust Logical Thinker Passion for Customers and Excellence
