What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
Working alongside two founders, you will shape priorities and lead strategic projects from problem definition through to execution. Your remit will span commercial growth, founder-led sales, key client conversations, business operations and the assessment of new markets, partnerships and opportunities. You will turn incomplete information into practical plans while contributing an independent perspective to consequential decisions.
Where you'll be doing it
Inside a lean team of approximately 10 people, you will have close founder access and visibility across a growing South African regulatory technology and credit bureau business. The operation has been stabilised and modernised following an acquisition and is now preparing for its next stage. The role is primarily office-based, with some flexibility indicated.
What you'll need
Evidence of strong strategic and commercial judgement is essential, together with analytical problem-solving, stakeholder management and confidence engaging senior clients in regulated environments. Relevant backgrounds include management or strategy consulting, start-up or scale-up operations, entrepreneurship and professional services. Consulting candidates are likely to bring around three or more years of strong experience. An LLB or legal and regulatory background would be particularly advantageous.
