Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Qualification in childcare, education, hospitality, tourism, recreation, or a related field is advantageous.
- First Aid certification will be advantageous.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, school, holiday programme, camp, hotel, or lodge environment.
- Hospitality experience, particularly within a family-friendly resort or lodge, is advantageous.
- Experience planning children's activities and entertainment programmes.
- Experience interacting with international and local guests is beneficial.
- Passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to activities.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Patient and compassionate nature.
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Strong safety awareness and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and excellent guest service approach.
- Ability to remain calm and handle challenging situations.
- Based in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal.
- Required to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak holiday periods.
- May require flexible working hours depending on guest activities and occupancy levels.
- Role involves active participation in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Guest satisfaction with Kids Club services.
- Safety and wellbeing of children under supervision.
- Quality and variety of activities offered.
- Positive feedback from families and guests.
- Cleanliness and organisation of the Kids Club area.
- Compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Effective communication with parents and operational teams.
