- Prospect, qualify and engage new customers.
- Develop a transaction pipeline and drive sales closures to achieve sales revenue targets.
- Drive relationships from initial engagement through to the successful closing of sales, including negotiating commercial terms.
- Respond to RFPs from customers and mobilizing the teams needed internally.
- Develop and present sales proposals to clients.
- Work collaboratively to refine our product offering and design new products and solutions to answer evolving needs of our customers and prospects.
- Analyse client needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends.
- Contribute to automate and digitalize operations, processes and reporting.
- coordinating with internal stakeholders (structuring, legal, credit/KYC teams, etc.).
- Follow up on regulation and evolutions of the renewable energy sector in South Africa.
- Contribute to the development/improvement of contract templates in close collaboration with legal and structuring.
- Follow risk and governance framework.
- Degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
- 3 years' work experience in the renewable energy / power sector (sales, tendering, project management, advisory).
- You need to know the key commercial drivers (business case) that underpin Renewable Energy.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Organised, reliable, and deliver quality output.
