Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful variance reporting.
- Prepare income statements and annual financial statements.
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
- Partner with plant operations by providing financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education
- BCom Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant finance experience.
- Essential experience within a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Proven experience managing the full finance function.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
Skills and Competencies
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong financial reporting capabilities.
- Sound budgeting and forecasting expertise.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
