Commercial Workshop Manager

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Workshop Manager within the commercial vehicle industry.
- Commercial vehicle dealership experience is essential.
- Proven experience managing workshop operations, technicians, and productivity.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of workshop processes, job costing, warranty procedures, and aftersales operations.
- Ability to monitor workshop efficiency, labour sales, and profitability.
- Stable employment history with contactable references.
- Computer literate on dealership management systems.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Trade Test qualification will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the commercial workshop.
- Lead, coach, and develop technicians, foremen, and workshop staff.
- Ensure maximum workshop productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor workshop KPIs, labour sales, and profitability.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee quality control and ensure vehicles are delivered on time.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Work closely with the Parts and Service departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare reports and manage workshop performance.
