Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Job Description:
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
- Prepare electrical designs, calculations, and technical documentation
- Design MV/LV reticulation, lighting, small power, standby power, and distribution systems
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation
- Ensure designs comply with SANS standards, industry regulations, and client specifications
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and client relationships
- Mentor junior engineers and support the successful delivery of projects
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Electrical Building Services Consulting
- Strong experience in the design of MV/LV electrical systems, lighting, and small power installations
- Experience on commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, or residential developments
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Revit experience advantageous)
- Strong project management, client liaison, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality technical solutions independently
Qualification:
- BEng / BSc in Engineering
- ECSA Registration (PrEng or eligible to register) advantageous
