The Department's strategic goals are to provide effective corporate governance; provide appropriate human resources management and development; promote a sound financial management practice; implement comprehensive care and accelerate the management of HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs, and other communicable and non-communicable diseases; strengthen district, health and hospital services; improve the quality of health care; improve emergency medical services; develop tertiary services; and improve infrastructure development and maintenance.Qualifications and Competencies A minimum of Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. Post basic qualification with the duration of at least 1 year in Curative Skills in Primary Health Care accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse A minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in General Nursing. Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Virtual meeting platforms literacy.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
