Eskom generates approximately 95% of the electricity used in South Africa and approximately 45% of the electricity used in Africa. Eskom generates, transmits and distributes electricity to industrial, mining, commercial, agricultural and residential customers and redistributors. Additional power stations and major power lines are being built to meet rising electricity demand in South Africa. Eskom will continue to focus on improving and strengthening its core business of electricity generation, transmission, trading and distribution.Job description Knowledge Business process Quality management processes, systems and practices International Organisational for Standardisation (ISO 9001) Enterprise risk management process Performance management Eskom business processes Updated with industry and regulatory changes and professional standards Auditing, fraud and professional ethical standards Enterprise risk management (ERM) Understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 to be able to conduct a successful audit To pursue development towards professionally registered auditor Skills: Relationship building Detail orientated Adaptable to existing and emerging technologies Problem solving Organisational Key Responsibilities: Consult, develop and coordinate the management system audit programme Audit and perform internal auditing Maintain a quality audit programme Identify and evaluate the risks for the management system risk programme Report on audit programme performance Minimum requirements Qualification(s): National Diploma in Quality Management/ Business Administration/ Engineering/ Auditing/ Built Environment at NQF 6 with 240 credits Related Experience: 3 years related experience in a technical/ non-technical/ quality management system implementation and auditing environment to ensure quality assurance
