- Strategic planning, management, and execution of all citrus production activities.
- Management of all farming operations, including irrigation, fertilisation, crop protection, pruning, and harvest planning.
- Monitoring and optimisation of production, quality, and yields in line with best agricultural practices.
- Effective management, development, and motivation of production teams.
- Planning and control of budgets, resources, and input costs.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, labour, health, and safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with technical advisors and other management team members to achieve production objectives.
- Implementing new technologies and innovative farming practices to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Crop Production, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5–10 years’ relevant experience in citrus production, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Excellent knowledge of modern citrus cultivation and farm management practices.
- Proven experience in staff management, budget control, and production planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy, with experience in agricultural and management software, will be advantageous.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A passion for sustainable agriculture and continuous improvement.
