Chief Financial Officer (Cfo)

Registered Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent Professional Accountant recognised by a professional body in South Africa.
At least 8 years' relevant financial management experience, including a minimum of 3 years at senior management level.
Experience in Higher Education will be an advantage.
Strong understanding and practical application of King governance principles, particularly King V. Demonstrated experience engaging with Boards and/or Council.
Excellent strategic, financial, commercial and operational leadership capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, the Tax Act and the Higher Education Act.
Knowledge and experience of Integrated Tertiary System (ITS) or a reputable equivalent ERP system.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to operate strategically and innovatively within a complex and changing institutional environment.
ADVANTAGEOUS Master's qualification.
CA(SA) registration.
At least 10 years' relevant financial experience, including 5 years at senior management level, preferably within Higher Education.
