Essential:
2–4+ years' experience | FMCG/Retail experience | Advanced Excel | Power BI | SQL | Strong commercial and analytical skills
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in one of the following:
- Data Analytics
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Business Analytics
- Information Systems / IT
- Finance
- Economics
- Supply Chain Management
- Commerce or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence or a similar role.
- FMCG, retail, manufacturing or supply-chain experience highly advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong Power BI experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP system.
- Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Tableau or Qlik.
- Python or VBA.
- Experience with ETL/data pipelines.
- Experience with demand forecasting and inventory analysis.
- Knowledge of FMCG concepts such as SKU, sell-in, sell-out, ROS, gross margin, promotions, stock availability and OTIF .
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial/business acumen.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to identify trends and convert data into practical recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- Proactive, inquisitive and solutions-oriented.
- Strong team player with the ability to work across departments.
