Remote Dynamics CRM Contractor (Project-Based)

Project Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Contractor to lead a once-off CRM optimisation and data remediation project. This is a project-based contract focused on improving the integrity, structure and automation of an existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment.

The successful contractor will be responsible for analysing the current CRM environment, cleansing and consolidating data, implementing governance measures to maintain data quality, and introducing automated workflows to ensure the long-term sustainability of the solution.

The current CRM contains approximately 57,000 records requiring review and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment.

• Identify, analyse and remove duplicate records using best practice data cleansing techniques.

• Configure duplicate detection rules, validation rules and other preventative controls to maintain ongoing data quality.

• Design, develop and implement backend workflows, business process automation and system logic to reduce manual intervention and prevent future data degradation.

• Review existing CRM configurations and recommend improvements to enhance usability, efficiency and performance.

• Develop documentation outlining the implemented solution, governance controls and maintenance recommendations.

• Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure all changes function as intended.

• Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the client's internal stakeholders upon project completion.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience implementing and administering Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.

• Demonstrated experience with large-scale CRM data cleansing and database consolidation projects.

• Strong understanding of CRM data architecture, entity relationships and data governance principles.

• Experience configuring duplicate detection, business rules, workflows and process automation.

• Knowledge of Power Platform components, including Power Automate, will be advantageous.

• Experience working with SQL, data migration tools and CRM import/export processes is beneficial.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables within a project-based environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Deliverables

The successful contractor will be expected to deliver:

• A fully cleansed and consolidated CRM database.

• Duplicate detection and data validation controls to maintain data integrity.

• Automated workflows and backend processes to reduce manual administration.

• Improved CRM data structure and governance.

• Technical documentation detailing the implemented solution and future maintenance recommendations.

• Project handover and knowledge transfer.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Independent Contractor / Project-Based

• Duration: Project duration (timeframe to be agreed based on project assessment)

• Remuneration: Fixed project fee, negotiated based on experience and proposed approach

• Work Arrangement: Remote based in South Africa
