Requirements:
- BEng in Mechatronics (BTech/Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical will be considered)
- 5-8 years' experience in an automation environment
- 3-4 years' design experience with automated machines (mechanical, electrical, software, control)
- Experience with Beckhoff and Festo PLCs, HMI design, and Pneumatic Control Systems
- Experience with Festo Vision Systems and E-Plan
- Proficient in Profinet, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP protocols
- Willing and able to travel locally and internationally
- Own transport and valid driver's license
- Support and improve existing control systems, PLC software, and HMI designs
- Oversee automation technicians and equipment repairs/installations
- Liaise with outsourced automation partners on new projects
- Provide manufacturing insight into new product development (DFM)
- Support local and international plant automation projects
