Finance Intern - SEF

NACOSA is looking for a Finance Intern to join the team as part of the SEF Programme. The successful candidate will support the Finance Officer in delivering effective financial administration, data validation and compliance, while gaining valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of a finance function.

The duties and responsibilities of the Finance Intern will include, but not limited to:

• Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance Officer.
• Validating financial data and information captured on the Kwantu system.
• Assisting with the preparation and collation of supporting documentation for payments.
• Reviewing financial documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal finance policies and procedures.
• Assisting with the capturing, filing and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Supporting the Finance team with financial administration and general finance-related tasks.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial information and reports as required.
• Following up on outstanding financial documentation and assisting with resolving discrepancies under the guidance of the Finance Officer.
• Supporting the finance function in maintaining proper audit trails and organised financial records.
• Assisting with other finance-related projects and duties as required.
• Promoting and embodying NACOSA’s values in all work performed.
