- MBChB
- Registered as an independent medical practitioner with the HPCSA.
- Experience in Paediatric HIV and Tuberculosis.
- Experience in medical research studies.
- ? What you’ll own:
- Screen and enrol eligible participants.
- Conduct clinical assessments and physical examinations.
- Collect study specimens (e.g. blood, sputum etc.) as required.
- Monitor participant health and clinical outcomes.
- Provide clinical management and follow-up of study participants.
- Manage laboratory results and referrals.
- Monitor TB treatment regimens and schedules with treating physicians.
- Ensure study clinical procedures are completed according to study protocols.
- Oversee clinical team activities and study visits.
- Monitor and report adverse events and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical and study documentation.
- Support study administration and monthly reporting.
- Maintain on-call hours for study participant medical events in rotation with other clinical team members
- Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
- Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
- Based at Redcross, Cape Town
