Our technology client in Sandton Johannesburg is looking for a Marketing Officer with 5 year’s experience responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the company's technology products and services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Additional certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint, IMM) are advantageous.
• 5 years' marketing experience, preferably within the technology, IT, SaaS, or telecommunications sector.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
• Experience working with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).

Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
• Assist in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR).
• Coordinate product launches, promotions, and go-to-market activities.
• Support the execution of B2B and B2C marketing initiatives.
• Digital Marketing - Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
• Assist with SEO, SEM, AEO, LLM, Google Ads, and paid social media campaigns.
• Coordinate email marketing campaigns via platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Content & Creative - Write, edit, and proofread marketing content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, brochures, and press releases.
• Liaise with graphic designers, videographers, and external agencies to produce marketing collateral.

• Market Research & Analytics
• Vendor Management - Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Product, R&D) to align marketing efforts.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, printers, and suppliers.
