About the Role

We are recruiting a Senior Insurance Specialist on behalf of our client. The role of a Senior Insurance Specialist is to manage commercial insurance administration, customer servicing, and back-office operations while supporting operational excellence across the insurance function. This is a senior, non-sales role focused on policy administration, client communication, process ownership, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with internal teams, you will manage commercial insurance processes, support customer enquiries, prepare professional documentation, and help improve business operations. As the team grows, you will also play an important role in mentoring and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial insurance policy administration and back-office operations.
• Process policy amendments, renewals, endorsements, and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and professional customer communications.
• Resolve customer enquiries and provide administrative support throughout the insurance lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and business processes.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Support the onboarding, mentoring, and training of junior team members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality while delivering a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in commercial or business insurance administration or operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy administration.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to improve productivity and workflows.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and professional customer correspondence.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Previous experience mentoring, training, or supervising team members is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new business systems quickly.
• Reliable remote working environment with a laptop, stable internet connection, and willingness to meet company technology requirements.
• You are required to work USA business hours , with flexibility to support business requirements.
