We are looking for a driven individual ready to tackle complex legal challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal research.Represent clients in court, arbitration proceedings, and mediation sessions.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex factual and legal issues.Interview clients and witnesses, gather evidence, and build strong case strategies.Negotiate settlements and advise clients on litigation risks and potential outcomes.Collaborate effectively with partners, senior associates, and support staff.Ensure compliance with court rules, procedural requirements, and ethical standards.Assist in preparing for trials and hearings.Contribute to client relationship management and business development efforts.RequirementsAdmitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.Demonstrated experience in handling commercial disputes.Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Proven ability to manage a caseload and meet strict deadlines.Good understanding of South African civil procedure and rules of evidence.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Commitment to client service excellence and professional ethics in Upington .
