Mechanical Design Engineer

What You’ll Need:

• A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  

• At least 3 years’ experience in machine design & manufacturing

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CAD design experience

• Skills in 2D and 3D CAD (if you talk in assemblies, drawings, and exploded views, you’ll fit in just fine)

• MS Word and Excel intermediate level

• You must be self-driven, detail-obsessed, and enjoy both solo engineering missions and team brainstorming

• Willingness to travel locally and globally to make your designs come to life

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing machines that are smart, simple, and efficient

• Drafting top-quality manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions

• Creating part specs, BOMs, and production docs

• Updating designs with engineering change proposals (ECPs)

• Supporting the production team and technicians, both in-house and on client sites

• Getting involved in P&IDs, factory layouts, and technical manuals
