You'll load and offload trucks at a parcel sorting hub in Atlantis so every delivery goes out full and correct. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.
The work is in Atlantis, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.
What your day looks like
- Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
- Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
- Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
- Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
- Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
- Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
You'll need
- No criminal record
- Friendly with customers at the door
- Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
- Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
- Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
What you get
- Route-completion incentives in busy months
- Meal allowance on long-route days
- Help to get your own licence through the company later
- Uniform and safety shoes provided
Applying, step by step
- Read the "What you need" list above. If you tick most of it, go ahead and apply.
- Keep copies of these ready to send: police clearance if you already have one, clear copy of your ID with a certification stamp plus CV noting any loading, moving or delivery work.
- Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
- Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 9 working days.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.
How to stand out
- If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
- Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
