SUMMARY:
Are you a finance professional with a solid track record in the property industry? We're looking for a Financial Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings sharp financial insight, and has a passion for strategic oversight within the real estate or property development space.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full financial function, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements specific to property portfolios.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across multiple developments or investment properties.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, property-related tax legislation, and internal financial controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and compliance officers during audits and regulatory reviews.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support investment decisions, portfolio performance, and operational efficiency.
- Support executive leadership with financial modelling, reporting, and scenario planning.
- BCom in Accounting , Finance , or related field (Honours or CIMA/ CA(SA) advantageous).
- 5+ years' experience in a financial management role, preferably in the property, real estate, or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of property-related financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., MDA, MRI, or similar property management software) and advanced Excel.
- Analytical thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
