Branch Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
To lead and manage all operational, sales, and financial functions of the branch, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources to achieve profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in line with company strategy.
ORGANISATIONAL POSITIONINGDirect Reports: Branch functional leads (Operations, Sales, Workshop, Logistics, Hire Desk; approx. 20+ staff)
Key Interfaces: Regional General Manager; Customers; Suppliers; OEM partners; 3PL providers; Internal departments
Key Responsibilities (Limit to 6) in order of importance
- Financial Management & Profitability – Full P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Operational Management – Oversee logistics, workshop, procurement, and fleet utilisation
- Sales & Revenue Growth – Execute sales strategy and grow market share
- Customer Service & Retention – Manage service standards and customer satisfaction
- Safety & Compliance – Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Leadership & People Management – Lead team performance and development
- Financial Management & Budgeting
- Operations & Fleet Management
- Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Health & Safety Compliance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum: Matric
- Recommended: Business-related tertiary qualification
- Experience: 3+ years operational management, branch management experience, logistics and fleet management
