POSITION INFO
An exciting opportunity is available for a Property Accountant to join a well-established organisation within the property sector. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a passion for property accounting and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. If you enjoy taking ownership of your work, building strong stakeholder relationships, and working in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you. Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts and property financial reports Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes Monitor and analyse property income, expenses, and budget variances Assist with budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios Prepare journals, accruals, and provisions Reconcile tenant accounts and property-related transactions Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors Analyse financial performance and provide variance commentary to management Qualifications & Skills: BCom Accounting or related qualification essential 1-2 years' property accounting experience required Retail property experience highly advantageous Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Confident, self-motivated, and proactive approach to work Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
