Site Quantity Surveyor

A leading civil construction project environment is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of projects throughout the Western Cape. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, measurement, contract administration and claims while working directly with the site team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Take ownership of the commercial aspects of assigned civil construction projects.
- Conduct accurate measurement and assist with project cost management.
- Prepare monthly payment certificates and related commercial documentation.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure against project requirements.
- Manage contractual processes and claims.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Support effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Site Agent and wider project team.
- Provide regular commercial reporting to the Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager.
What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years' relevant civil construction experience.
- Proven site-based Quantity Surveying experience.
- Knowledge of SANS 1200.
- Practical experience in cost control, budgeting, measurement and payment certificates.
- Understanding of contract administration, claims and cash flow forecasting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Project proficiency.
- EJM or comparable costing software experience is advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence.
