Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Assistant to join their Head Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, Excel, and retail planning in a fast-paced environment. You'll become part of a collaborative team with excellent opportunities for professional growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesExport, collate and maintain business data
Analyse sales and stock information
Prepare reports to support business decisions
Assist with planning and forecasting activities
Support stock allocation across retail stores
Monitor workflow and provide administrative support where required
Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a planning, allocation or retail support role
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and working with large spreadsheets
Strong numerical and analytical ability
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Valid driver's licence advantageous
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working with large datasets, SKU codes and detailed spreadsheets
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Adaptable, proactive and eager to learn
Looking to build a long-term career within a growing retail environment
