SUMMARY:
Montagu Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Farm Foreman to join the team.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
At least 5 years’ experience with stone fruit
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Must be passionate and excited for growth
Must be self-disciplined / reliable / hands on / independent / initiative taking / trustworthy
Strong time management skills
Maintenance orientated
Computer literate
Valid driver’s license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Overall maintenance and management of farm
Ensuring daily operations and production of the farm runs smoothly and efficiently
Livestock management
Equipment management
Record Keeping and Inventory
Daily reports
Safety and Compliance
Machinery maintenance and servicing
Crop Production and Management
Staff management and training
Assisting the farm manager with financial management (Constantly bettering budgets)
Problem solving (Especially when coming to developing agricultural methods)
