You will be involved in projects that drive technological progress and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical schematics, circuits, and system layouts for various applications.Utilize CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD) for creating and modifying electrical designs.Perform calculations and simulations to analyze circuit performance, power requirements, and signal integrity.Select appropriate electronic components and materials based on project specifications and cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers and mechanical designers, in a remote setting.Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.Assist in the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical prototypes and products.Research new technologies and components to enhance product design and functionality.Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input to project discussions.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical design.Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and simulation software.Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics, power management, and microcontrollers.Experience with PCB design is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.Self-motivated and proactive with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Must be legally authorized to work remotely in South AfricaBenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary and the significant advantage of a fully remote work arrangement, providing unparalleled flexibility.
