Our client is actively seeking a skilled E-commerce Platform Specialist to join their fully remote team. This position is vital for the optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's online retail platform. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce platform(s), ensuring optimal performance and stability.
Implement and configure new features, integrations, and functionalities to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Collaborate with web developers and designers to troubleshoot issues and implement website updates.
Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization.
Ensure product catalog accuracy, including descriptions, pricing, and imagery.
Work with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices and ensure platform readiness for campaigns.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols for the e-commerce platform.
Stay current with e-commerce platform advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Develop and document platform procedures and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as an E-commerce Platform Specialist, E-commerce Manager, or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor front-end adjustments is a plus.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for e-commerce websites.
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for remote team synergy.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Experience with PIM (Product Information Management) systems is advantageous.
