A Game Lodge in Hoedspruit is seeking a versatile and experienced Trails Guide / Relief Head Guide & Relief Lodge Manager. This dual-role position requires a strong guiding professional who can also step into a relief management role, ensuring smooth lodge operations and exceptional guest experiences when required.
REQUIREMENT:
RSA ID and legal residence essential FGASA Level 2 (or higher preferred) Lead Trails Guide qualification essential Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) Valid First Aid certification Previous experience as a Senior / Head Guide in a lodge environment Strong leadership and organisational skills Ability to assist with lodge management duties when required Excellent guest interaction and hosting skills Professional, reliable, and adaptableKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct guided walks and game drives to a high standard Act as Relief Head Guide, overseeing guiding operations when required Step in as Relief Lodge Manager during management absence Ensure guest safety and exceptional bush experiences Mentor and support junior guides Maintain guiding vehicles, firearms, and equipment Assist with lodge operations and inter-department coordination Uphold lodge standards, conservation principles, and guest satisfactionPACKAGE:
