Requirements
- New Client Acquisition & Pipeline Development
- Proactively research and identify new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic focus areas, including agriculture, ICT, and other priority sectors.
- Conduct cold calling, lead nurturing and follow-up to convert leads into qualified prospects
- Maintain a healthy and well-documented sales pipeline using an established sales funnel methodology
- Initiate and manage discovery meetings, presentations and sales engagements with potential clients
- Strategic Sales & Solutions Design
- Engage with HR, transformation, procurement and executive stakeholders to understand client B-BBEE strategies
- Position the company’s accredited training and learnership offerings as high-impact B-BBEE solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to package tailored proposals that align to sector codes and transformation goals
- Account Management & Client Success
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to drive retention, referrals and upselling
- Provide ongoing support to clients and act as liaison between client stakeholders and the company’s operations/delivery teams
- Track client milestones and maintain relevant supporting evidence for B-BBEE scorecard claims.
- Proposal Development & Reporting
- Prepare compelling, accurate and timely proposals and quotations
- Track and report weekly/monthly activity including:
- Meetings held
- Revenue generated
- Proposals submitted
- Pipeline value (qualified leads)
- Maintain CRM records and sales documentation in line with company standards
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly sales revenue achieved against agreed target
- Number of new clients signed or converted within the reporting period
- Value of confirmed sales closed, including repeat business and upsell opportunities
- Conversion rate from qualified opportunity to signed client agreement
- Number and quality of client proposals converted into confirmed business
- Client retention, satisfaction and repeat purchase levels
- Pipeline quality and accuracy as a supporting measure for sales forecasting
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
- Collaborate with marketing (where applicable) to support lead generation campaigns
- Provide market and sector insights to inform new product or program development
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in B2B consultative sales, preferably in the training or B-BBEE space
- Working knowledge of B-BBEE legislation, learnerships and SETA frameworks
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver on targets
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally
- A 3-year degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field is preferred and will be an advantage
- Proven sales track record, supported by contactable references and an existing relevant client database, will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of B-BBEE, QCTO frameworks, and SETA-accredited training will be advantageous.
