Sales Senior Account Manager

Identify, prospect, and qualify new B2B business opportunities across targeted commercial sectors in Cape Town and surrounding regions.
Conduct comprehensive client workplace audits/assessments to uncover operational inefficiencies and present tailored technology roadmaps.
Execute structured consultative sales cycles from initial cold contact/warm referral to formal proposal presentation and contract closing.
Maintain and grow a high-value portfolio of existing key accounts, serving as the primary commercial relationship holder.
Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities (e.g., migrating print clients into PBX/telecoms or solar integration).
Ensure maximum client retention, high satisfaction levels, and seamless contract renewals.
Prepare detailed commercial proposals, tenders, and total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) comparisons.
Work closely with internal technical specialists, presales engineers, and leasing/finance teams to structure competitive, profitable deals.
Present complex technical and financial proposals confidently to executive decision-makers (CFOs, COOs, IT Directors, Procurement Heads).
Maintain precise record-keeping of pipeline activity, client interactions, deals status, and forecasts within the company CRM.
Meet and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual gross profit and revenue targets.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging workplace technologies.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on B2B Account Management, Business Development, or Direct Sales experience within Office Automation, ICT, Managed Services, Telecoms, or related technology sectors.
Track Record: Demonstrated history of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of workplace hardware/software solutions (MPS, VoIP, Cloud PBX, IP CCTV, or Solar/Power backup systems) and asset rental/lease finance models is highly advantageous.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills with a strong ability to pitch at board level.
Licensing & Mobility: Valid South African Drivers License and reliable personal vehicle (essential for client visits across the greater Cape Town region).
Education: Grade 12 / Matric required; a tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or IT is preferred.
