To sort and stack inventory and label products and packages correctly with batch numbers, an organisation in Centurion, Gauteng is seeking a Warehouse Assistant.

Responsibilities
- Sort and stack inventory, pallets, and containers neatly and safely to maximise storage space and prevent accidents.
- Feed raw materials into production machinery and remove finished products from the line for packing and dispatch.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick lists, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sweeping floors, removing waste, and storing tools and equipment properly.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and strapping machines after receiving appropriate training.
Requirements
- A Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate is preferred though not always essential depending on the specific role.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual work including lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- For warehouse roles, experience operating a forklift with a valid licence is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as operational demands require.
- A clear criminal record may be required depending on the nature of the workplace and client requirements.
