A lovely opportunity is available for an experienced Reservationist to join a well-established luxury hotel in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role would suit an organised and guest-focused reservations professional with experience in a high-end hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Manage individual and group accommodation reservations accurately and efficiently Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner Prepare quotations, booking confirmations and amendments Ensure guest profiles, preferences and booking details are correctly captured Liaise closely with Front Office, Revenue, Sales and other hotel departments Assist guests and travel partners with room options, packages and general hotel information Identify opportunities to upsell rooms, packages and additional services Process deposits, payments and reservations-related administration Maintain strong relationships with direct guests, travel agents and tour operators Deliver consistently high service standards throughout the reservations process Requirements Previous reservations experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel, lodge or luxury hospitality environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and administrative ability Professional and confident telephone manner Good understanding of hotel reservations procedures and rate structures Experience with a recognised hotel PMS or reservations system Strong computer literacy Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment Warm; professional and service-orientated approach
