Maintenance Assistant

Curro provides independent school education in English and Afrikaans to learners from 3 months to Grade 12, making use of an education model based on: Christian ethos and values Child friendliness Creative thinking Positive discipline Key performance areas Assist with the marking and preparation of sports fields and school grounds. Perform routine maintenance and repairs across school facilities. Transport materials, equipment, and occasionally staff/learners as required. Support coaching and supervising of sports activities and practices. Carry out any additional duties as determined by school management from time to time. Desirable Attributes: Knowledge of health and safety protocols. Flexibility and a positive attitude towards teamwork and school community engagement. Previous experience working in a school environment will be an advantage. Qualifications, experience and skills A Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in general maintenance duties, including repairs, basic plumbing, painting, and groundskeeping. A valid driver's license. Be in possession of a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) or be prepared to apply for one once appointed. Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Closing date: 03 July 2026.
