Junior Admin Imports Controller

An established organisation within the imports and logistics environment is looking for a Junior Admin Imports Controller to join their team in Kliprivier, Meyerton . This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious junior professional to gain practical experience across the full import administration process. Working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams, you’ll play an important role in ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Duties & Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing and managing all necessary import documentation, including purchase orders, shipping documents, and customer declarations
- Support the compliance process by ensuring that all imports adhere to relevant regulations and requirements
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers regarding shipments
- Assist with inventory management by updating records of incoming shipments and reconciling inventory
- Assist with managing and monitoring import costs
- Prepare reports relating to import expenses
- Process GVRs
- Manage administrative filing, processing, and controls
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field would be advantageous
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience
- Experience within the freight, shipping, imports, or logistics industry advantageous
