Procurement Analyst (Remote)

About the Role Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their expanding team in a fully remote setting.

You will be responsible for analyzing spending patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting the negotiation process with detailed market intelligence.
The ideal candidate is proficient in data analysis tools and possesses a strong understanding of procurement principles, enabling them to contribute effectively to optimizing the company's supply chain from afar.
Key Responsibilities Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process efficiencies.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key procurement metrics (KPIs).
Support the sourcing and negotiation teams with market research and data analysis.
Monitor supplier performance and provide data for regular supplier reviews.
Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures based on data insights.
Identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain based on analytical findings.
Requirements 2+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or a related field.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or relevant BI software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
