Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the Role Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their organization on a fully remote basis.
This senior role is responsible for developing and executing sophisticated sourcing strategies for key categories of spend, driving significant cost savings and value creation.
You will analyze complex spend data, identify strategic opportunities, build strong relationships with global suppliers, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement category strategies for high-value spend areas, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, including supplier landscape, cost drivers, and emerging trends, to inform sourcing decisions.
Lead complex sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and negotiations with global suppliers, securing optimal terms and conditions.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key strategic suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with internal business units to understand their requirements and align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
Monitor supplier performance against contracts and establish corrective action plans when necessary.
Requirements Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing , procurement, or category management.
Proven success in developing and implementing category strategies that delivered substantial cost savings and value.
Expertise in leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contract management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
