Duties:
- Deliver mechanical engineering support across the full project lifecycle, including design, installation, maintenance, and optimisation of industrial equipment.
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and related tools while maintaining ISO standards.
- Perform mechanical design calculations, including load analysis, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP, ensuring accurate engineering data and system integrity.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and international engineering teams to develop and implement tailored technical solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess equipment performance and provide technical recommendations.
- Support production and project teams by ensuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Uphold Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or BEng)
- 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical design and drafting, preferably within heavy industry, manufacturing, or equipment fabrication
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor; SolidWorks advantageous)
- Experience working with SAP and managing engineering data (BOMs)
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and engineering standards
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
