A well-established leader in the manufacturing industry, for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join their Engineering team in Kwastina - Carletonville.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and fault-finding on instrumentation, process control and automation systems, while supporting plant reliability, production efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and repair instrumentation, process control and automation systems.
- Perform planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Conduct PLC, HMI/SCADA, VSD and instrumentation fault finding.
- Support robotics, motion control and industrial networking systems.
- Assist with electrical fault finding and panel building up to 525V.
- Maintain process control software and critical spares.
- Provide technical support to production.
- Support continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives.
- Supervise subordinates and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Grade 12 (Matric).
Instrumentation-related trade qualification, minimum T2 or N5.
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Instrumentation Technician or similar.
Manufacturing or industrial production experience.
Strong experience with PLC, HMI/SCADA, VSD, automation and instrumentation.
Electrical fault-finding experience up to 525V.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Salary: R40,000 – R45,000 CTC per month, depending on experience and technical capability.
