A fleet management company in Tzaneen, Limpopo is hiring a Fleet Coordinator to oversee operation and maintenance of a large vehicle fleet. You will schedule servicing and repairs, manage fuel consumption and costs, monitor driver behaviour, and ensure all vehicles are licensed and roadworthy. Fleet management software experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all import and export documentation including customs declarations, bills of entry, and shipping instructions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system by processing all stock movements and conducting cycle counts.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with health and safety regulations including safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift drivers, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, delivery shortfalls, damaged goods, and returns, implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of South African customs regulations, import and export procedures, and Incoterms for international logistics.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, transport management, or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external providers.
- For warehouse supervisory roles, experience with material handling equipment including reach trucks and forklifts with valid licences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, transport management systems, or ERP systems such as SAP.
