My client is looking for an experienced Proposals Engineer to join their team in Robertsham and play a critical role in transforming customer requirements into technically sound, commercially competitive and winning proposals. Be able to combine technical expertise with commercial thinking to develop high-value engineering proposals and integrated solutions.This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across tenders, quotations, engineering design, customers, suppliers and internal project teams.You will be responsible for:Preparing technical & commercial quotations across E-Houses, Container Substations, MCCs & MV SwitchgearDeveloping integrated solutions incorporating transformers, HVAC, fire protection, UPS systems, BTUs and ancillary equipmentPreparing complete tender returnables, including datasheets, schedules, deviations, clarifications and exclusionsDeveloping cost-effective and technically competitive solutionsNegotiating supplier discounts and optimizing proposal costsParticipating in customer clarification and tender meetingsCollaborating with Engineering, Projects, Sales and Legal teamsConducting Commercial Risk Evaluations (CREs) Producing GAs, SLDs, layout drawings and other engineering designsRequirements:MatricElectrical National Diploma or equivalent35 years technical experience in packaged switchgear solutionsStrong exposure to MV & LV systemsUnderstanding of LV systems up to 1000V and MV systems up to 33kV.
